The Steilacoom Garden Club will be holding their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 to noon in the outdoor area between the Bair Bistro and the former Key Bank on Lafayette Street. We will be selling a variety of perennials, annuals, groundcovers, shrubs, bulbs and vegetable and herb starts.
This is a good time to get inexpensive plants to fill up your garden. Proceeds from the sale go toward purchase of the flowering baskets that grace our downtown during the summer months, as well as other town projects.
We will also have two raffles: one for a lovely hanging basket donated by H&L and the other a hand-made potting bench that anyone would love to own. In addition to plants, we will have two craft booths – one selling unique birdhouses and the other garden art such as re-purposed vintage items including shabby chic plant chairs, rustic garden implements, mossed planters, garden chandeliers, glass mosaic gazing balls, garden mirrors, and more.
The shabby chic vendor will be open from 9:00-4:00 p.m. If you have plants to donate, please contact Jan Lucas at 253-588-6217.Print This Post
