One of the featured presentations at the Tillicum Woodbrook Neighborhood Association meeting this coming Thursday, April 7, 6:30 P.M. at the Tillicum Community Center, 14916 Washington Ave. SW, will be by the Gang Unit of the Lakewood Police Department.
Topics to include: Identifying gang behavior; who belongs to what gangs; identifying gangs through graffiti; activities of non-territorial gangs; where gang activity is increasing and decreasing; what actions the LPD is taking in dealing with gang activity; and what gangs are territorial and how that affects the community.
Also presenting will be Mary Dodsworth, Director, Lakewood Parks, on the proposed improvements to Harry Todd Park, providing you an opportunity for feedback on what you would like to see happen there.
Coming to our meeting May 5th will be City Manager John Caulfield on the “State of the City.” And on June 2nd, City Attorney Heidi Wachter will share regarding the Rental Inspection Program (R.I.P.) being looked at by the City Council for implementation in Lakewood.
