While in Delaware I found a unique brand of root beer called Dang Root Beer. Dang Root Beer caught my eye because a nice man who works in Lakewood, named Linh Dang, provides lawn and garden service for the common areas that belong to our neighborhood association. Additionally, he is responsible for several private yards in our neighborhood.
Dang Root BeerLinh and his crew are hard workers. Additionally, Linh has a fantastic “can do” attitude supported with a strong willingness to please his customers.
So with that strong endorsement in mind I had no choice but to buy a gift bottle for Linh Dang. After all, most of us do not see root beer with our names on the label. Have you ever seen Boyle Root Beer? I rest my case.
I was frustrated and disappointed to learn that I would not be allowed to carry a single bottle of Dang Root Beer on the plane. Had I tried to sneak the root beer on board, the TSA would have stopped me at the security gate. TSA is focussed on preventing passengers from carrying root beer on planes because a wacko could shake a bottle rigorously and then squirt root beer all over everyone’s traveling clothes.
The threat would allow him to commandeer the plane for some unknown sinister plot. Homeland Security, with the help of TSA, guard America from root beer terrorism. I will be the first to admit they are doing an excellent job because we have never had a single root beer terrorist incident in the United States of America.
Recently I was on 6th Avenue in Tacoma when I found a new establishment called The Root Beer Store. They have 100 flavors of root beer. I asked if they had Dang Root Beer. They do, so I bought a bottle. I asked if they have Boyle Root Beer. They do not.
While I cannot carry root beer on the airplane, I am allowed to carry root beer on my Harley Davidson motorcycle.
I gave the bottle to our faithful friend and vendor, Linh Dang.
Linh went on to have some major fun with his friends and family showing off his own brand, Dang Root Beer.
Small, but important fun, in our Lakewood neighborhood.
In closing, I would like to further endorse Linh Dang. If you need some work accomplished around your yard, give Linh Dang a call at T: 253-223-5241.

What an interesting story. I love root beer (IBC) and A&W. I’ll have to check out that store on 6th sometime. Also I jotted Dang’s number down for when I need some landscaping done at my house since he got a rave review. Good landscapers are hard to find. Thank you Joe for an incredible story.

I have never seen Boyle Root Beer either. However, I have seen Wine By Joe and it got rave reviews. I’ll bet a cup of Joe that Shake can draw up a Dang cartoon about this story.
