Pierce College is opening the doors to the world during its first ever International Festival on the Puyallup campus on Wed., May 13. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the College Center building lawn.
Hosted by International Ed, the event will feature food trucks, music, cultural activities, a clothing exchange and more. Several international students will also participate in the event, sharing stories about their home countries.
All proceeds from the clothing exchange will benefit the Pierce College International Experiences Scholarship, which will help send students on study tours to South Korea later this summer.
Puyallup Student Life is collecting clothing to be sold during the event, and all students and employees are welcome to donate.
“We hope to bring a fun, international spirit over to the Puyallup campus through this festival,” said International Education Activities Coordinator Breanna Baker.
Anyone interested in performing or signing up as a vendor (selling international themed products) during the event can contact Breanna Baker at email@example.com.
