TACOMA – Twenty-seven restaurants will participate in Tacoma Restaurant Week for two weeks beginning Sunday, giving area foodies a chance to dine in the area’s best restaurants for a lot less. They’ll find such exciting creations as Flaming Sword Brochette of Tenderloin, Ancho Chile Wings, Polenta Lasagna, Hard Rootbeer Floats, and Blowtorch Prime Rib.
Over the two-week promotion, Sunday through Thursday only, diners can indulge in $28 three-course dinners, and/or even find deals at some of those places offering a three-course lunch for $15.
Restaurant Week, which runs April 12-16, and April 19-23, is an opportunity for diners to try restaurants that usually are priced much higher. It’s a great way to dine on three courses ultra-affordably at such places as El Gaucho, CI Shenanigans, Pacific Grill, and Smoke+Cedar.
The menus for restaurant week are creative, featuring the South Sound’s best chefs.
The list of 27 participants stretches mostly across Pierce County including the waterfront, downtown core, Gig Harbor, University Place and even Oakbrook.
Diners will find the Tacoma Restaurant Week deal at the following restaurants:
The Cliff House
Doyle’s Public House
Duke’s Chowder House
Engine House No. 9
Ginger Palace II
Harmon Brewery & Eatery
The Melting Pot
The Office Bar & Grill
Paesan Kitchen & Bar
Salty’s at Redondo
Smoke + Cedar
The Social Bar & Grill
Stanley & Seafort’s
Tacoma Restaurant Week 2015 is not a first for the South Sound. Successful Tacoma Restaurant Week promotions ran twice in 2012. They were popular with both restaurants and patrons and have returned, this time sponsored by Alaska Airlines Signature® VISA.
Tacoma Restaurant Week runs at the same time in April as Seattle Restaurant Week, but is not affiliated with the operation up north. Most major cities run a restaurant week once or twice a year.
