Nearly 6,000 students walked across the stage in the Marriott Center, in late April, as they became official graduates of Brigham Young University.
Lakewood’s Christopher and Katherine Badger, both former Lakes High School graduates, were among the 4,928 BYU graduates receiving Bachelor’s degrees. Christopher received his degree in Business Management while Katherine received hers in Elementary Education. Both graduated with academic honors.
In August, Christopher will enter medical school at the University of California, Irvine.
Katherine, who completed a full-year teaching internship this year, will be teaching full-time in Utah next year.
Sister, Elizabeth Badger, who also attended BYU as a freshman this year, is home working for the summer and plans to return to her studies in the fall.
