The Steilacoom Historical School District Board of Directors voted to approve the hiring of two new administrators for the 2014-15 school year. Mr. Paul Harvey has accepted the position of Executive Director of Student Achievement and Ms. Sandy Lee as Assistant Principal of Chloe Clark Elementary School.
Paul Harvey comes to the District from Highline School District where he has served as the Assistant Principal of Highline High School for the past 3 years. Prior to Highline, he served as the Executive Director of Human Resources for the University Place School District. Mr. Harvey has been in administration since 1997 and taught high school for four years. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Secondary Administration from Western Washington University. He also holds advanced certifications in administration from Seattle Pacific University. The Executive Director of Student Achievement will oversee the Human Resource and Teaching and Learning Departments.
Sandy Lee has been an employee of Steilacoom Historical School District since 2006, as an elementary teacher and administrative intern. She is well known to the Chloe Clark Elementary students, staff and community. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Educational Administration from University of Washington-Tacoma.
