I have attached a photo of a sign I spotted recently while visiting the Lakewood Towne Center Starbucks located at 6040 Main St SW, Lakewood, Washington 98499 T: 253-588-9404. The photo provides for an exciting invitation and opportunity.
Our citizens benefit in several ways from the Starbucks Community Art Wall The benefits include, 1) It is fun to display your own art work, whether amateur or professional. 2) It is pleasurable , entertaining and fun for customers to see your artwork. 3) Artists and visitors to the art wall benefit when art pieces are bought and sold. I have art from at least two art wall artists displayed in my home. I saw them and had to own them. 4) It is a positive community service on the part of Starbucks to make this happen. I know store and district management work hard to preserve the art wall in order to provide our community with this additional cultural dimension.
If you have a product of your artistic efforts that can be hung on a wall such as paintings, photographs, weavings, water colors or …, contact a Starbucks barista to learn more. Who knows, one day we might see your work displayed on the community art wall.
