‘SequaliShoot’ challenges photo enthusiasts to take their best shot of Sequalitchew Creek trail

June 5, 2014 By The Suburban Times

The City of DuPont is celebrating National Trails Day by inviting people to experience the beautiful Sequalitchew Creek trail on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Among the activities planned is the 2nd Annual SequaliShoot Photo Challenge. This free event challenges local photographers and photo enthusiasts to get their best shot of nature in and around Sequalitchew Creek canyon. The catch?

The images must be shot between noon on June 7 and noon on June 8. “SequaliShooters” work will be uploaded to a Flickr photo gallery for people’s choice voting. First and second place awards will be judged by DuPont photographer Kate Lynch and DuPont Tourism Board member Deborah Kerner. Awards will be announced at the city’s July 4th celebration.
