Annie Wright Schools Hire Alumna to Recruit for Upper School

TACOMA – Annie Wright Schools announced today that Alyssa Harvey, a 2006 graduate, has joined the Admissions Team as the Upper School Admissions Director. Harvey will lead recruitment for Annie Wright’s all-girls International Baccalaureate day and boarding program for Grades 9-12.

Harvey joins Annie Wright from Pacific Northwest Ballet, where she served in their world-renowned PNB School, and then in Development for the performing Company. Prior to four years with PNB she worked for the U.S. Census Bureau. Harvey is a graduate of Gonzaga University, where she earned a BA in French and English while participating in the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. She also currently serves as the Vice President on the Board of Directors for Carden Country School on Bainbridge Island, where she attended Kindergarten through eighth grade, before attending Annie Wright Upper School. “Attending Annie Wright was a life-changing experience for me,” shared Harvey. “Coming back to the school feels like coming home, and I am excited and honored to recruit girls who can add value to their lives through Annie Wright.”

Alyssa brings with her a wealth of professional and personal experience to recruit the best girls for Annie Wright Upper School.”

Founded in Tacoma in 1884, Annie Wright Schools are two schools on one campus. Annie Wright Day School serves boys and girls in Preschool through Grade 8, while Annie Wright Upper School offers all-girls day and boarding programs for Grades 9 through 12.
