Fun, food, shopping, entertainment and more. It’s all a part of the upcoming Duck Daze Festival on Saturday, June 7 in University Place. The day-long festivities begin at 9 a.m. with the UPTown Cruisin’ Car Show, followed by the popular Duck Daze Parade at 10 a.m. The parade finishes in the heart of U.P. at its Civic Building, 3609 Market Street West, where more fun awaits. The festivities will continue to 3 p.m. and include “Race a Duck,” the Fire & Police Open House, and the Duck Daze Festival booths and attractions. Join us from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Market Square for a day full of fun.

Want to wait until the day of the event to check the “moisture factor”? That’s fine, too! Drive-ins will be accepted on the day of the event before 9 a.m.
Mark your calendar now for the Duck Daze Festival! We’ll have food, exhibitors, live animal appearances from the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Parrot Ambassadors, and live music with Ian Dobson’s Pan Leggo (Caribbean style steel drums). The Fire & Police Open House will be there with their refreshments, helmets, life jackets and cool equipment on which the kids can climb.
