Barbara Greatwood, of Centralia Rotary will unveil an ambitious water & sanitation project of the Centralia Club at the June 3 meeting of Tacoma Narrows Rotary. Check your map to see where Papua New Guinea might be located…I did! A long ways from Centralia, Washington.
The Rotary Club of Tacoma Narrows meets weekly (7 am) at the Fircrest Golf Club for fellowship, breakfast, and an informative and interesting presentation from a guest speaker.

- June 17 – President’s Choice – Outgoing President Jay Mosser will look in his rear view mirror at the last year, and fill us in on his trip to India and “lessons learned”.
- June 24 – Bring a friend to this one….Tom Miner, head of the FEMA-sponsored Pierce County Urban Search & Rescue Team, which worked the Oso disaster, will tell us what it’s like to manage a disaster of this magnitude, with “behinds the scenes” information. Tom has been a Search & Rescue Specialist with the Pierce County Sheriff for much of his 27 years there, and recently retired to run US&R.
