Wanted: Photos of Local Military

April 24, 2014 By The Suburban Times

As a part of the new “Military Neighbors” exhibit the Lakewood Historical Society would like to honor our local veterans and active duty with a photo display during May and June.  This includes veterans from all branches of service, as well as active duty, who have lived in the Lakewood/Pierce County area or were assigned to one of the military bases in Western Washington.

Please bring the photo(s) of the veteran/active duty in uniform to the Museum during regular hours, Wed-Sat, 12 noon to 4 pm. (The Museum is closed on Sat, April 26th.) The photo will be scanned and returned. We will continue to accept photos even if you are unable bring it by in time for the Grand Opening on May 3rd.
