Learn about 3D Printing at library

March 3, 2014 By Pierce County Library System

Thanks to generous gifts from Afinia 3D Printers and SpaceClaim, members of the community have the opportunity to learn all about 3D printing at Gig Harbor Pierce County Library, 4424 Point Fosdick Drive N.W.

People can learn about 3D Printing and see a demonstration of the library’s new Afinia 3D Printers. Free events at the library include a short discussion of the history of 3D printing, the different types of 3D printing and the 3D printing process. The discussion will be followed by a demonstration of the 3D printers.
