TACOMA, Wash. – Discuss transportation issues and opportunities at DOTG’s Friday Forum this Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 from noon to 1 p.m. at UW Tacoma (Joy 215).
Panelists Fred Young, Alta Planning, Diane Wiatr, City of Tacoma Active Transportation Coordinator, and Lisa Quinn, Feet First Executive Director, explore our options for ensuring that cars, bikes, buses and pedestrians can co-exist.
These locally renowned presenters bring their Northwest experience, as well as work from around the country, and will talk about the challenges in installing complete streets, why it’s so important and how we can ensure everyone uses them. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss.
