The next program for the Lakewood Historical Society is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18 at 7 pm at St Mary’s Episcopal Church, 10630 Gravelly Lake Dr SW, next to Lakewood Library. We are pleased to present Tim Tweten, owner of the South Sound Restaurant Group, who will talk about the plans for major remodeling of all six of his restaurants.
Learn more about each of these iconic landmarks that have served good “home cookin’” for many years to their local communities. They include the Harvester in the Stadium District, Knapp’s in North Proctor District, the Hob Nob near Wright Park, the Poodle Dog in Fife, and Burs in Lakewood on Steilacoom Blvd and the newest, the Powerhouse in Puyallup.
