Make a woven heart paper basket to collect Valentine cards. Take home Valentine treats to sweeten the season.

Chocolate: the history, the goodness, the deliciousness. Dr. Alfredo Gomez-Beloz, ethnobotanist, leads a journey of discovery through chocolate’s origins, uses and variety of flavors, with samples. Additional free samples provided by The French Hen Bistro. Ages 12 and up.

Those who love to hate Valentine’s Day are invited to a nontraditional function. Ages 10 – 18 will un-celebrate with moody music, broken heart cookies, cranky crafts and unsentimental party games. Participants are encouraged to wear black.
