Lowe’s provides $10,000 grant to Rebuilding Together South Sound

TACOMA – Rebuilding Together South Sound in Tacoma received a $10,000 grant from Lowe’s to complete critical repairs and weatherization and energy-efficiency upgrades for local homeowners this fall. Rebuilding Together South Sound will work with 20 volunteers to make a wide range of modifications and repairs including: repairing/replacing a roof, installing a new faucet, installing new window glass and/or door installation, caulking, sealing existing windows and doors, installing an energy efficient furnace, and performing other home repairs to increase warmth and help reduce overall utility costs in time for winter.

Lowe’s provided a $310,000 grant to support 32 Rebuilding Together affiliates nationwide, including Rebuilding Together South Sound Since 2007. Lowe’s has contributed more than $9 million to Rebuilding Together to improve local communities. This fall, Lowe’s and Rebuilding Together will complete their 1,000^th project together.
