PUYALLUP, WASH. – On Wednesday, Nov. 20, Pierce College Puyallup will host the Fall University Transfer Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its College Center balcony area. Representatives from most accredited Washington state colleges will be on hand to answer students’ transfer questions and discuss transfer goals.
Presented by the Washington Council for High School-College Relations, the event is free and open to the public. Attendees can obtain relevant and current transfer information on their intended schools’ college majors and programs, financial aid, scholarship opportunities and college life.
“Of our 3,884 students in Puyallup, more than 2,400 — nearly two-thirds of them — are transfer majors,” says Marty Cavalluzzi, president of Pierce College Puyallup. “The Transfer Fair is for those students, as well as others who might be considering attending here and continuing their education beyond Pierce College.”
