The Steilacoom Museum Holiday Store is open weekends until December 7, Saturdays from 10 to 3 and Sundays from noon to 4.
The Museum Holiday Shop is open for shopping now and is a great place to find unique and exciting gifts. Steilacoom calendars, mugs, notecards and books are great gifts. New jewelry and scarves are inspired by Victorian designs; wooden items remind us of Nathaniel Orr, woodworker. Wooden trains, toys and bags of blocks are perfect gifts for children today as well as yesterday. New renditions of old ideas are present with book plates and calling cards ( great for exchanging email addresses!). The traditional craft of knitting is represented by recycled knit ware designed into mittens and hats. Christmas ornaments and Santa figures sparkle and unique greeting cards are printed from original water colors. These are just a few of the items you will find at the museum store this year, in addition to the traditional gifts the store usually carries.
The unique gifts you have always wanted to buy will be found at our Steilacoom Museum Holiday Shop. For most items, Steilacoom Historical Museum Association members receive 10% discount. The Museum Holiday Store is open weekends until December 7, Saturdays from 10 to 3 and Sundays from noon to 4. The Museum is located at 1801 Rainier Street.
