LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The public is invited to join Clover Park Technical College on Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. in the McGavick Conference Center, where Congressman Denny Heck will serve as the keynote speaker at CPTC’s Veterans Day Ceremony. Students, staff and the public will hear about “moving beyond the barriers” for veterans and students through speeches by both Congressman Heck and Maj. In addition to speakers, the ceremony will feature a POW/MIA ceremony led by student veterans at CPTC. Refreshments will be served, and a wreath will be laid in honor of all service members who have lost their lives in war.
