The University Place City Council will meet on Monday, November 4, 2013, 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room (3715 Bridgeport Way West). Following is the regular council meeting agenda:

CALL REGULAR MEETING TO ORDER – MAYOR

ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

APPROVAL OF MINUTES – October 7, 2013, October 11, 2013 and October 21, 2013

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

PUBLIC COMMENTS – (At this time, citizens will be given an opportunity to address the Council on any items listed under the Consent Agenda and on any subject not scheduled for a Public Hearing or Council consideration. Comments or testimony related to a scheduled Public Hearing or Council consideration should be held until the Mayor calls for citizen comments during that time. Public comments are limited to three minutes. Please provide your name and address for the record.)

CONSENT AGENDA

Motion: Approve or Amend the Consent Agenda as Proposed

The Consent Agenda consists of items considered routine or have been previously studied and discussed by Council and for which staff recommendation has been prepared. A Councilmember may request that an item be removed from the Consent Agenda so that the Council may consider the item separately. Items on the Consent Agenda are voted upon as one block and approved with one vote.

Receive and File: Payroll for pay period ending 10/15/13 and Claims dated 10/31/13.
Adopt a resolution establishing an additional Council Goal and Outcome for the 2013-2014 biennium.
Adopt a resolution formally naming three City owned park properties.
Approve new application for Liquor License for Chambers Bay Distillery.
Approve application for renewal of Liquor License for Albertson’s #467 and Bartell Drug Company #57.
Confirm Randy Walden’s re-appointment as Chamber of Commerce Representative on the Economic Development Commission for a term ending October 31, 2014.
Confirm Ben Zielke’s appointment as the School Representative on the Public Safety Commission.
