Tacoma Youth Theatre is holding open auditions for young actors, ages 5 – 18, for Barbara Robinson’s full-length play THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER.

Auditions
Saturday, Oct. 19th from 3pm – 6pm.
Sunday, Oct. 20th from 3pm – 6pm.

Call-backs
Thursday, Oct. 24th from 6:30-9pm

This is an outstanding educational opportunity for both experienced and first-time young actors. No experience necessary, no preparation required, and walk-ins are welcome! The auditions will consist of games, exercises & reading/reciting from the script. Non-readers are welcome. Parents may stay throughout, but should at least plan on attending the first 15 minute of auditions.

$300.00 tuition due, if cast, on the first day of rehearsals. PAY WHAT YOU CAN* options are available.

Rehearsals run from October 28th through December 3rd, Mondays through Thursdays from 6:30pm – 9:00pm.  There are some Saturday& Sunday daytime rehearsals. Actors will only be called as needed, and any conflicts may be listed on the audition form and taken into account when scheduling rehearsals.

This is a special holiday event for Tacoma Youth Theatre, performing and rehearsing at our brand new theatre facility in the heart of the theatre district throughout the month of December.  The few adult characters will be played by experienced actors and educators, who will collaborate with and mentor the young artists.

Please help us to spread the word! For more information please call (253) 677-0531.  Tacoma Youth Theatre is located at 924B Broadway in Downtown Tacoma and online at www.tacomayouththeatre.org.  Please share our indiegogo campaign and make a donation by visitingigg.me/at/tacomayouththeatre.
*PAY WHAT YOU CAN tuition is not free. Tacoma Youth Theatre is funded through tuition payments. However, we believe that ALL children should have the opportunity to discover the magic of theatre – regardless of their ability to pay. Families are asked to pay the full tuition amount or an alternate amount they can afford. For more information about pay-what-you-can:
