Send a Kid to Camp; Take Art Home – It’s That Easy

October 14, 2013 By The Suburban Times

UNIVERSITY PLACE – Tahoma Audubon, the Pierce County chapter of National Audubon Society, is conducting an online art print auction to replenish its Scholarship Fund. Tahoma Audubon provides need-based scholarships for area youth attending classes and day camps offered by both Tahoma Audubon and the Tacoma Nature Center, for our summer camp teen internship, and for adult environmental education programs and classes year round.

The fall art auction is live now and runs until October 20, 2013. It features more than 50 fine art prints featuring birds and wildlife of North America. Most prints are signed by the artist. These prints are large, high quality prints suited for framing. They are flat, not rolled. These prints would make a beautiful gift for any nature-lover with an empty wall.

We are also accepting donations directly to the scholarship fund. Our goal is $3,000 to meet the anticipated needs based on scholarships awarded this year.

View and bid today at: www.biddingforgood.com/TakeWing – Auction Ends October 20th.
