Steilacoom: Halloween Spooktacular

October 13, 2013 By The Suburban Times

There are few events in one’s life more significant than your high school graduation.  The opportunity to celebrate this accomplishment sometimes is not afforded to every child for a number of reasons; quite often it’s a lack of financial support.  We believe no child should be prevented from walking to the podium to collect their well-earned diploma due to family or economic circumstances.  How can you help?

Join us on Saturday, October 26 for the Steilacoom High School Class of 2014 Halloween SPOOKTACULAR Event.  This is our major fundraising event to support the graduating class.   Through this event, we make funds available for kids who cannot afford caps, gowns, graduation announcements, etc.  This fundraising event will also enable us to host a safe, drug and alcohol free after graduation celebration.    If you can’t purchase tickets to this fun adult only event, you can donate an item for our silent auction.  All donations are appreciated.   For more information please contact Mary Dodsworth at 253-589-2772.
