Dance Theater Northwest has posted their Arts are Education Community Outreach Performance fall event schedule. While all these performances are worthy of your attendance, the Saturday, October 5th event in the Civic Center Atrium is a chance for those who missed seeing an earlier performance when Melanie Kirk-Stauffer, Dance Theater NW Artistic Director, choreographed her reflections of a visit to the UP Museum.
Dancers portray UP’s historic Leland sisters and the activities which were occurring in our city/region during the early 1900’s to the growth of city-hood. The show contains all forms of dance so it will appeal to a wide range of dance enthusiasts.
This Saturday’s October 5th performance will be held in the UP Civic Center Atrium and starts at 5:15pm. As a partner with the City of University Place, Dance Theater NW provides these performances as a service to the community and therefore they are free to the public.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see these Dance Theater NW performances are they are always professionally produced, entertaining, and a wonderful way to be introduced to the Arts should this be your first exposure to a program of dance.
