Sylvester John Etienne, 63, passed away September 25, 2013 at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. He was born on February 15, 1950 in New Orleans, LA to George and Rose Lee (Jones) Etienne.
He married Tong Ok Sin on June 15, 1978. Sylvester served in the U.S. Army retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1989. Following retirement, he worked for Coca Cola for a time and after receiving his degree in Computer Science worked in the computer field.
Sylvester is survived by his loving wife Tong; parents; sisters Rosetta and Joyce Ann Etienne; brothers Ronald, Gerald, Isaiah Etienne. He was preceded in death by his brother Russell.
Visitation will be Monday, September 30 from 1pm to 6pm at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12pm, Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Funeral Home’s Celebration of Life Center.
Stella Joanne Fischer born in East St. Louis, Illinois as Stella Joanne Dees on March 1, 1943, passed away at the age of 70 on September 24, 2013 in her Tacoma home after her battle with cancer, with her daughters at her side.
Stella was loved by all and touched the hearts of those who had the privilege of meeting her. Stella had the ability to make people laugh without trying. Stella enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
Stella is survived by her six children: Lisa Ortiz, Donald Turner, Rhonda Ogo, Christina Roquette, Kimberly VanDyke, and Betty Johnson; and her 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Stella was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Fischer, and her five siblings, Donna, Christine, Dallas, and her identical twin sister Della.
Her children and grandchildren send a message to her with all their love: Forever in our hearts, always in our thoughts.

Marilyn Irene Dunn, age 62, passed away September 23, 2013 in University Place, WA. Marilyn was born in Adak, Alaska on July 11, 1951. She worked for the King County Health Department in Seattle for over 15 years. She celebrated every holiday to the fullest and loved spending them with her family. She is survived by her daughter, DezaRae Hedrick; son and daughter-in-law, Damien and Mona Hedrick; granddaughter, Danielle Marie Sears; sisters, Pauline Clark, Larrie Whitney, Susan Cunningham and Kathy Odegard; and numerous extended family members and friends. A memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Grandchildren Peter (Adrienne) and Shannon Manning (Cristian), Nathaniel and Stacy Hyland, Great Grandchildren Jasmyne and Selena Ramirez. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Carol was an amazing, loving and caring woman, who always put the needs of others ahead of her
own, she like to spend her time shopping with her granddaughter Shannon, doing cross word puzzles, playing bingo, scratch tickets, yahtzee,video games and interacting with the dogs Pebbles and Puppy.
She also enjoyed drinking Pepsi and watching movies with her son in law Pete. She would always say to Pete ” Boy, that better not be my last Pepsi ” which would always put a smile on both their faces. Her family meant the world to her and she would tell everyone she met, always bragging about her children and grandchildren.
She never asked anyone for anything, but she would do anything for anyone, she was very laid back and lived life one day at a time. Truly one of a kind! CAROL WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY MANY AND LOVED BY ALL
