Dance Theatre Northwest opportunities

Dance Theatre Northwest is offering a number of opportunities for those interested in dancing, or helping with the organization. More information follows:

FOR JUNIOR DANCE ENSEMBLE MEMBERS

Auditions are being held Saturday, October 12th at 9:00 a.m. for Jr Dance Ensemble Members and Advanced Jr Dance Ensemble members for The Nutcracker.  Student level performers have numerous additional opportunities to participate in community service and outreach performances. Advanced Jr Members should come with prepared pointe solo or variation.

FOR EXPERIENCED DANCERS

October 12th and by appointment through November 1st for experienced dancers with classical training who are needed for upcoming performances of Arts Are Education & Community Outreach Performances. Positions are open for Company members, and Guest Performers. Call (253) 778-6534 for an application and audition appointment or send DVD audition  and resume to: DTN, 2811 Bridgeport Way West #24, University Place/Tacoma, WA 98466.

FOR  SCHOLARSHIPS

For all dancers ages 10-23 with 7 or more years classical ballet training. Dancers will train in the intensive program. Please call (253) 778-6534 for an application and an audition appointment.

FOR INTERNSHIPS

to assist in Marketing and Development, Data Entry, Fundraising, and Scrapbooking Historical Records.

Dance Theatre Northwest is a 501-(C)-3 Non-Profit Organization. Our goal is to provide American contemporary dance performances and ballet-based dance education; to maintain artistic integrity; and to offer the community an opportunity to experience dance as an important art form.
