Children learn with block play at Pierce County Library System

Playing with blocks will help children develop learning skills during free events at Pierce County Libraries. The Pierce County Library Foundation sponsors these free events.

Building with blocks develops a child’s math and science skills, and provides lots of fun! Parents and caregivers are invited to bring children to a block party and build, talk, explore and create together.

Fife Pierce County Library, 6622 20th St. E.
Thursdays
Sept. 12, 4 – 5 p.m.
Oct. 31, 4 – 5 p.m. Halloween Block Party!
Nov. 21, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Gig Harbor Pierce County Library, 4424 Point Fosdick Drive N.W.
Second Thursday of the month, 1 – 2 p.m.
Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Dec. 12

Lakewood Pierce County Library, 6300 Wildaire Road S.W.
Fridays, Oct. 4 – Nov. 15, 10:30 a.m.

Parkland/Spanaway Pierce County Library, 13718 Pacific Ave. S., Tacoma
Third Saturday of the month, 10 – 11:30 a.m. Please note: No block play on Dec. 21.
