Tuesday, August 20th, at 1 PM, Congressmen Denny Heck and Derek Kilmer will host a Congressional field hearing on the Puget Sound recovery at the Center for Urban Waters. Retired Congressman Norm Dicks and Washington Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark will also attend.
The four will receive an update from partners in state, local and tribal government as well as from the private and non-profit sectors on Puget Sound recovery efforts. Congressmen Heck and Kilmer will also speak about new efforts on the federal level, including the Congressional Puget Sound Recovery Caucus.
This event is also the third of Congressman Heck’s “Discuss It With Denny Heck” events, a series bipartisan conversations on some of the big issues facing America. Other events in the series can be found here and in the attached flyer.
