On Friday, September 13th the Lakewood Playhouse is Celebrating its 75th Anniversary as the Cultural Crown Jewel for the City of Lakewood. They would be honored to share their Opening Day Celebration with you upon the Occasion of their Season’s Opening Day and their presentation of the Classic Comedy Arsenic & Old Lace.
All of events, with the exception of the evening’s performance of Arsenic & Old Lace, are free. Special Events, on Friday, September 13th include:
4:30pm: Ribbon Cutting with the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, with Special Guests Deputy Mayor Jason Whalen and City Council Member Marie Barth
5:30pm: Proclamation of “Lakewood Playhouse Day” from the City of Lakewood
6:00pm: Wine & Cheese Reception with Silent Auction, Wine generously Donated by 21 Cellars Wine and Hors D’Oeuvres Generously Donated & Catered by Carr’s Restaurant
8:00pm: Performance of Arsenic & Old Lace
9:00pm (or During Intermission): Live Auction and Raise the Paddle Towards Our Lakewood Institute of Theatre or Our Building Endowment
