Rep. Denny Heck to host “Balancing the Budget: Setting our National Priorities”

Wednesday, August 14th, at 6 PM, Congressman Denny Heck will host a public, interactive simulation of the federal budget process entitled “Balancing the Budget: Setting our National Priorities” at Pierce College Puyallup. Interested members of the public are invited to participate in the event, which will feature small and large group discussions about the specific policy proposals being discussed in Congress related to the federal budget. Working together, participants will come up with a federal budget proposal based on existing and proposed federal policies.

This is the second of Congressman Heck’s “Discuss It With Denny Heck” events, a series bipartisan conversations on some of the big issues facing America. Other events in the series can be found here and in the attached flyer.
