Julia Lee Taff-Witheril went home to Jesus on July 29, 2013. She is singing and dancing hallelujah down the streets of gold.
Julia did many amazing things in her life. She was most proud being mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a talented artist and poet. She was the most loving, kindest, most beautiful, sweetest, and forgiving soul. She lived her life for God and had the purest heart we know. We are comforted to know she is with God in heaven and dancing a happy dance of peace.
We love you Mom/Grandma and we will try our hardest to make you proud. We miss you and think of you celebrating life in heaven. You are our special angel.
Her surviving family members are numerous, but include loving daughters and spouses, Maryann and Jon Myre, Jane and Gene Cantrell, and Katherine and Frederick Davies; five adoring grandchildren, Amanda, Jerry Richard, Saundra, Jesse Ready and Ruby Lee Frances; and five great grandchildren, Andrew Ready, Jayden Gurtner, Hailey, Aiden and Carter Ready; mother, Catherine Johnson (Gallant); brothers, Jay and John Taff; sisters, Lesley, Jill, Joyce, and Polly.
While this is a time for the living to mourn, we ask that you rejoice in knowing Julia is in heaven; she lived her entire life for this day. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. Amen.
