Same familiar faces in a new place (temporarily). Same service with a new menu (temporarily). The Ale House (located on Mildred) has partnered with Narrows Plaza Bowl (located just behind them) to open their lounge to The Ale House’s customers (and others) while the damages the Ale House suffered from fire in their kitchen are being repaired. “This partnering will help our staff stay employed and will keep us in touch with our customers. Thank you to the management of Narrows Plaza Bowl for helping us through this tough time,” said Craig Dickens of the Ale House.
Narrows Plaza Bowl will be opening at 11:00AM until their normal closing time to serve food and beverages in their lounge seven days a week beginning Monday, July 29, 2013. Several members of the staff of The Ale House will be working there to bring customers the same service they have come to expect. They will be working side by side with the great Narrows’ staff. Some of the kitchen staff will also be working to help cover the additional needs that will be created by turning their lounge into a Pub.
While the menu is different than The Ale House, Narrows Plaza Bowl serves high quality food. Their pizzas are truly among the best in the South Sound. They serve Certified Angus Beef. Their tacos and pizzas are put together on premise. They serve their breakfast menu anytime the kitchen is open. While Narrows does not have 64 beers on tap, they will be reviewing their choices with The Ale House and are willing make some changes based on their recommendations (with 14 beers on tap). Narrows will be offering a Happy Hour from 3:00PM to 7:00PM Mondays through Fridays similar to the Happy Hour Specials that The Ale House has offered. They both hope the community at large will support this partnership during a time of a “Neighbor in Need.”
