Lions to host a fall wine tasting bus tour

July 28, 2013 By Eric Warn

The Lakewood First Lions Club is hosting a fall wine tasting bus tour of five select Woodinville wineries on Sunday, Sept. 29th from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 40 capacity bus tour, conducted by Seattle’s Bon Vivant Wine Tours, a 2011, 2012 and 2013 Winner of Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor, is open to the community as well as local Lions Club members. The round trip cost from Tacoma to Woodinville is $130 per person which includes transportation, box lunch, and wine tasting.

Each visit will last 60-70 minutes and include wine tasting (four wines), questions/answers, interaction with tasting room staff, socializing among guests and time to purchase wine. Coffee and donuts will be served in the morning on the way up to Woodinville.

Checks should be made out to Lakewood First Lions Community Foundation and mailed to Nanci Anderson at 6514 Flanegan Road W, Lakewood WA 98499. Everyone on the bus will be able to participate in a drawing to win two free tickets to the Lakewood First Lions Club Crab Feed on Saturday, April. 26th, 2014. Questions regarding the bus tour should be directed to Eric Warn at ewarn6234@aol.com.
