Clover Park School District’s transportation department received exceptional results from the Washington State Patrol (WSP) annual inspection of its bus fleet. Once a year, the WSP performs a 100 percent inspection of the district’s bus and motor pool fleet.
“Our mechanics maintain the school bus fleet and the motor pool vehicles and equipment on a daily basis, ensuring they are working satisfactorily and meet safety requirements,” said Delphie Nielsen, director of transportation.
The motor pool received a 100 percent rating with no unsatisfactory or out of service vehicles. According to the WSP, the results of the inspections have been outstanding for the past two years.
“We congratulate you, your administration, and the staff of your transportation department for these outstanding school bus inspection results,” said Randy Dorn, state superintendent of public instruction. “We look forward to your continuing support of student transportation safety.”
