Raymond Clyde Cox was born July 25, 1934 in Tacoma, Washington. He passed away June 16, 2013 at University Place Care Center after a long illness.

Raymond CoxHe graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School where he played baseball, basketball, and football. He also served in the U.S. Army.

He met his life companion and best friend, Tina Pauley, in 1977. He loved to golf, fish, and was a member of the Tacoma Elks.

He is survived by his companion, Tina; sons, John (Twila), Glenn, and Greg; daughter, Tamera; and stepdaughter, Beate; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to thank University Place Care Center for their help and support during this journey.

Rick is very loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Per his wishes, there will be no memorial service.

Lorna J. Treloar was born Aug. 20, 1930 in Tacoma where graduated from Stadium High School in 1948, then the University of Puget Sound with a Bachelor’s degree in education. Lorna taught Spanish at Kent Meridian High School and Curtis Junior High, retiring after 25 years.

Lorna TreloarShe married Francis W. Treloar in Lakewood; they enjoyed golfing, snowbirding in Palm Desert, CA, and 17 cruises around the globe.

Lorna went home to be with the Lord on June 17th. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Frank; daughters, Cara Belsby and Victoria Sweetland; grandchildren, Jennifer and Colt; brother, Cecil Royer; and sister, JoAnna Johnson. She is loved and will be missed by all of her family.

Graveside services will be held at Tacoma Cemetery at 2:30 pm Saturday, June 22, 2013. Guestbook at www.newtacoma.com.
