Brittain recommended for Director of Finance & Operations

Steilacoom Historical School District #1 Interim Superintendent Kathi Weight will be making a recommendation to the Board of Directors to hire James Brittain for the position of Executive Director for Finance & Operations.

James BrittainThe Board will consider the recommendation at its regulary scheduled board meeting on June 20, 2013. Mr. Brittain is currently serving an as Audit Manager for the Washington State Auditor’s Office in Olympia. He previously worked as a Director of Special Investigations and Director of State Audit and Operations for the same agency.

“Mr. Brittain is regarded as a dynamic leader that communicates effectively with all stakeholders. His background in financial and project management will be an asset to our district.” says Interim Superintendent Weight.
