Hannah Jolibois (below left) was presented with a plaque commemorating her award as Lakewood Rotary‘s Student of the Month for May, from the Clover Park School District. Robert Peterson of Lakewood Rotary made the presentation, quoting some of Hannah’s admiring teachers: “highly motivated”, “astute critical thinking skills”, “funny and articulate”, “driven, intelligent, and hardworking”, “true to herself and others”, “an example of a great human being.” She has won several science fair awards at both district and regional fairs, including 1st place at the South Sound Regional Fair. She is currently the only sophomore in the upper level chemistry class. Hannah is a student leader, including working with middle school students in Peer Group.
In accepting the award, Hannah gave thanks to Lakewood Rotary for its program of recognizing student achievement. Moreover, she thanked the Rotarians for their community work, especially the Playground at Ft. Steilacoom Park.
With her to accept the award was Hannah’s prinicipal, Lisa Boyd. Congratulations to Hannah Jolibois, Lakewood Rotary’s Outstanding Student of the Month.
