Meet best-selling authors at U.P. library

May 7, 2013 By Pierce County Library System

By Mary Getchell, Communications Director, Pierce County Library System

Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m., meet New York Times best-selling author Margaret Stohl and other authors when the YA ICONS tour makes a stop at University Place Pierce County Library, 3609 Market Place W.

To attend the free event: visit University Place Library for a free ticket. Limit two per person, while supplies last. Friends of the University Place Library sponsor this free event.

Co-author of “Beautiful Creatures,” Stohl launches a series with a new novel—“Icons”—which is due to be published on May 7. “Icons” tells the story of four very special teens who could be humanity’s only hope after Earth is taken over by aliens.

Stohl will be joined by fellow New York Times best-selling author of “Cinder,” Marissa Meyer. Additional guest authors scheduled to appear for this event include popular series writers Leigh Bardugo and Kimberly Derting.

Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of King’s Books.

Readers may find these authors’ books at University Place Library and throughout Pierce County Library System.
