LAKEWOOD – Eleven students from Lakes High School in Lakewood will have their photography showcased in a new exhibit at St. Clare Hospital. The students are part of teacher Scott Waeschle’s beginning photography class. Students submitted photos which were then submitted to St. Clare staff to choose the final photos for the exhibit.
“We are delighted to be able to showcase these creative works by our high school students”, said Kathy Bressler, President of St. Clare Hospital. “At St. Clare we are committed to celebrating our youth and the positive impact they have in our community.”
The photos will be on display throughout the rest of 2013. In 2014 new photos will be selected for the exhibit and rotated each year thereafter. The students will then receive their 17 x 22 framed photos as a keepsake. The general public is welcome to view the exhibit during normal hospital visiting hours which are 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
