O’Ban to host May 2 telephone town hall

May 1, 2013 By Ben Sclair

Rep. Steve O’Ban, R-Pierce County, will host an hour-long telephone town hall Thursday, May 2. The 28th District call will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Constituents who would like to participate can call in toll-free 1-800-761-6258. On the call, participants can press the star (*) symbol on their telephone to ask a question of O’Ban or simply listen to the conversation.

“There are so many things being debated, including the state budget that will impact residents of the Twenty-eighth District and the state. This call is an opportunity to share some thoughts with constituents, listen to their feedback and answer questions,” O’Ban said. “I appreciate the two-way dialogue with my constituents, so in addition to this call I will also be scheduling in-person meetings once we are finished in Olympia. I am truly looking forward to hearing from everyone on the call and back in our district.”

O’Ban added that constituents who cannot participate in the call are welcome to contact his office directly with questions, comments or to schedule an in-person meeting. He can be reached at (360) 786-7890 or steve.oban@leg.wa.gov.

“My door is always open and I welcome calls, e-mails and am happy to meet with individuals and groups to listen to their concerns and solutions,” O’Ban said. “I hope folks remember that I work for them year-round and if there is anything I can assist with, they can contact me.”
