Photos & Article – Joseph Boyle
On May 17 and 21, 2012, I wrote a couple of articles on our local family business, Lakewood Hardware and Paint. Included in one of the articles was a photo of the front entrance, which was being remodeled at the time.
The title on my last Lakewood Hardware article was “Lakewood Hardware, What’s Happening?”
I have been watching the progress and now we can see what was happening. Check out my photos in this article. Lakewood Hardware has a new look.
I hope you agree that anytime a resident or businessperson does something to make our community of Lakewood a better place, we all benefit from the enhancement.
Well, I think Donn Tyler has done just that. His store looks great. He now has two entrances. There is a sign that reads Main Entrance and a sign that reads Decorator Entrance.
You can access general hardware, lumber and nursery through the main entrance. If you want direct access to paint and associated products, you can use the decorator entrance, which is located at the far end of the building.
Thanks, Donn for making Lakewood a better and more attractive place to live and shop.
Check it out for yourself. Tell them Joe Boyle sent you.
