I went on a fun road trip this weekend to North Bend, Washington and while doing so, discovered the above pictured North Bend Police Department Entrapment location on the walkway next to Starbucks.
If you dare sit on the bench, which looks very inviting to a weary shopper, you may be caught in the North Bend bench sitters sting operation.
Watch yourself. You do not want to be prosecuted.
It might be safer if you spend your time and money in our own city of Lakewood.
Well, you can’t say Joe Boyle is not always looking out for you.
Very Good, Joe. The sign reflects one of my favorite sayings about Big Brother: “Thank goodness we do not get get all the government we pay for!” Keep roaming and watch where you squat!!
Off-putting, for sure. The bench appears pristine (as does the wall). I wonder which came first, the bench or the sign? And how do the city fathers define “trespassing?” Attempting to penetrate a brick wall?
They neglected to remind visitors: No littering. No smoking. No gum chewing (and no ABC gum under the bench!). No alcoholic beverages. No soliciting. No swearing. No shoes, no service.
Did you inquire within (at SBUX) as to the ownership of the bench?
