People have scooped up all of the tickets for the bestselling author event, featuring J.A. Jance on Thursday, July 7, at 12:30 and 7 p.m. at University Place Pierce County Library, 3609 Market Place W. The Library System was issuing free tickets on a first come, first serve basis, and people quickly grabbed the 300 available tickets.
The New York Times bestselling author will talk and sign books in the atrium of the new University Place Civic and Library Building. Friends of the University Place Library are sponsoring this free event.
“Pierce County Library System is honored to host a talk and book signing with Ms. Jance, which builds on the excitement and enthusiasm for the new library,” said Neel Parikh, executive director for Pierce County Library System. “Residents asked for the Library System to offer more author talks and book signings at the new library, and we are happy to deliver on their request!”
A bookseller will be onsite to sell books for the event. Jance’s newest book in the J.P. Beaumont series—“Betrayal of Trust”—is scheduled to be released July 5, and it will be available at the program. “Betrayal of Trust” is the 20th book in the series that features Seattle investigator Beaumont.
Jance’s books can be found at University Place Library and throughout Pierce County Library System.
