The City of University Place invites the public to attend a question and answer session on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. at City Hall, 3715 Bridgeport Way West. Residents will hear a brief presentation on City finances, the Traffic Impact Fee Program, plus a Town Center update, followed by an opportunity to ask the City Manager and senior staff questions about any topic.
City Manager Steve Sugg is pleased to have the opportunity to hear directly from residents. “Without a meeting of this type, citizens come to rely on grocery store conversations or other sources to ascertain how the City is faring during these difficult economic times. I want to take this opportunity to share personally the state of the City’s budget and am anticipating great questions from those in attendance to help put their concerns to rest.”
The public presentation will replay on UPTV (University Place Television); replay times will be posted at www.CityofUP.com.
Citizens who are unable to attend the public presentation can send their questions in to efaison@CityofUP.com. Questions will be answered at the presentation as time allows.
