Spend Your Mother’s Day with Lakewold Gardens

April 26, 2011 By Ben Sclair

LAKEWOOD, WA – Lakewold Gardens is offering two very special events in celebration of Mother’s Day – A Garden Tea with Lucy Hardiman presenting Bodacious Borders on May 7th and Mother’s Day Brunch on May 8th. Both events are wonderful ways to celebrate this extraordinary day, and the timing could not be better with the gardens in full bloom. Make your reservations for one of these fabulous events and treat mom to a beautiful afternoon at Lakewold.

A Garden Tea with Lucy Hardiman takes place Saturday, May 7th at 1:30pm. This three-course tea is accompanied by a presentation on Bodacious Borders from nationally recognized garden writer and designer Lucy Hardiman. Tickets for this event are $50 for members and $57 for non-members.

Then, on Sunday, May 8th at 11:00am is our annual Mother’s Day Brunch. Attendees will enjoy a buffet-style brunch and a stroll through the gardens – truly the perfect setting to honor mom. Brunch pricing is $50 for members, $57 for non-members, $20 for children 3-12, and free for children under 3.

For more information, or to make your reservation, please contact Amanda Wood at 253.584.4106, x108. As seating is limited for both events, pre-paid reservations are required. Special thanks to Occasions Catering & Special Events, AA Party Rentals, and Columbia Bank.
