Don Anderson has announced his intention to seek reelection to the Lakewood City Council. Anderson is a senior partner with the Tacoma law firm of Eisenhower & Carlson. He was initially elected to the City Council in the Fall of 2007 and has served as Deputy Mayor the last three years.
Anderson, has been involved in numerous community activities, including serving as board president of Tacoma Goodwill Industries and the Puyallup School District and on the boards of Tacoma Rotary #8 and Communities in Schools of Lakewood. A Navy veteran, he is a long time sports official and spent nine years as a reading tutor in Hilltop area schools. He has been endorsed by the Lakewood Police Independent Guild and the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of Realtors.
Don and his wife Nancy, a teacher, have been married for 34 years and have resided in Lakewood since 1988. They have four grown daughters.
