Unusual history and magical comedy at Steilacoom library

People will laugh and learn during free events at Steilacoom Pierce County Library, 2950 Steilacoom Blvd.

  • Wednesday, April 27, 7 p.m. – Unusual and Offbeat Washington – Award-winning author and radio producer Harriet Baskas will guide participants in discovering how Washington state’s unusual and offbeat people, places, things and events contribute to community identity. She will share untold stories of their influences on local and state history. Friends of the Steilacoom Library and Inquiring Mind Speakers Bureau sponsor this free event.
  • Saturday, April 30, 11 a.m. – Funny Family Magic Show – The whole family will giggle, ooh and aah with GiggleWorks at this comedic magic show. The Danae Rideout Endowment, Pierce County Library Foundation and Pierce County Library System sponsor this free event.
