Pets of the Week

April 21, 2011 By Ben Sclair

Shasta is a wonderfully sweet Lab/Pit mix.  She is only 2.5 years old and is spayed.  Shasta is a little on the heavy side, but that just gives you more to love. Shasta came to the shelter when her owners had to move.  She is already crate and potty trained and has been to some training classes.  Shasta would love a refresher and the opportunity to learn new things. Shasta thinks she is a lap dog.  She is always eager to please and thinks that belly rubs are the best thing in the world.    Shasta would love a home with older children where she can get lots of exercise!

Boo is a gentleman– just look at that tuxedo!  He is an 8 year old, domestic medium hair.  This sweet boy is neutered and microchipped and ready to find his forever home. Boo needs a special home where he can get lots of love, and someone to help him find out what’s going on with his lungs.  He came in with a cough, and still needs some tests done to determine the underlying cause. Boo loves to hang out on laps and converse.  He would love a home with no other animals.  Come meet Boo today!

Contact The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County, (253) 383-2733 for more information. You can now see all shelter pets online.
